As a Project Controller you will be part of the Group Business Control division. The level of responsibility in the role of Project Controller covers three areas: The first is to ensure solid controlling of the project planning by reviewing Business Cases, including risk analysis and bottom up planning of the total Roadmap. Second is to ensure a smooth and solid administrative organisation in which the projects are administered and covers all aspects from project start, creating commitments, booking actuals, accrual management and updating on project cost planning. The third is to establish a proper project reporting, both on the actuals and outlook and in addition a consolidated view of the whole portfolio.
The focus of Group Business Control is to initiate and execute a group wide planning, reviewing and optimization by working closely with the (local) business and the Procurement Control team. This is based on reporting, analysis and monitoring of the key drivers with the procurement spend buckets. Project Controlling focuses on all investments relating to Product Development and enables that these investments are handled and managed as a project with its defined scope, timeframe and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Project Control Process and performance monitoring on the designated domains;
• act as an independent business partner for Project Management, VP’s and Management Teams;
• ensure a complete an accurate consolidation of domain performance including risk assessment to Business Control;
• monitor and maintain a robust process for project controlling spend, financial planning and reporting;
• active role in contract negotiations, business cases and execution with regards to the project portfolio
• work with the designated domains to draft budget/Long Range Plan and strategy discussions;
• initiate and follow-up on improvement initiatives;
• work closely with the Procurement Control team in order to identify potential savings in the project portfolio;
• responsible for the financial translation of business issues and developments within the project portfolio;
• continuously seeking improvements and ways to strengthen the Project Control team.
• Gross yearly salary of 60-70K, including vacation allowance of 8%;
• 25 vacation days, plus 5 Banking holidays;
• bonus scheme of 10% on the yearly salary
