Finance Director in Amsterdam

Our client is a strong growing International industrial company.

• Accurate and timely monthly financial and management accounts and reporting;
• Actively participate in and support the business with the creation of strategic and financial plans as well as support operational issues;
• Lead the annual budgeting process;
• Improve and develop new management reporting capabilities;
• Lead the finance team and drive development and performance of team members;
• Strategic plan Preparation, Forecasting, Investment Analyses, Business Case Preparation;
• Ensure effective and timely communication both internally and externally on all finance related projects and responsibilities;
• Monthly OPEX reviews with functional heads to ensure budget delivery;
• Taking a positive role within the leadership team and become an advocate for our brand in the market place.

• Masters degree plus a minimum of 5 years senior finance leadership experience;
• Proven team leadership and development capability;
• Experience with all aspects of finance annual cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit and tax reports;
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch;
• The ability to translate complex of financial information into easy to read management information;
• Leadership skills demonstrated within own team and across the wider organisation;
• Pro-active, driven leader who wants to continually improve and accepts challenge as a positive;
• Relationship builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrated strong influence management, judgment and decision making competencies.
