Reconciliation Associate in Heerlen

As a Reconciliation Associate you will be responsible for:

• (daily) monitoring and reconciliation of all holdings, receivables / payables and bank balances;
• adequately recording and assessing breaks and providing them with unambiguous statements;
• providing break-through input for quality improvements across the entire chain;
• the implementation of improvements in processes, procedures and systems;
• ad hoc exception handling.

At APG Asset Management you will work within the Asset Servicing Reconciliations team, which is part of the Operations department. The team consists of 3 associates and 1 analyst. You will be based at our office in Heerlen.

As a Reconciliation Associate, you know how to approach issues from different angles and ask the right questions. You are someone with a healthy ambition who takes action independently, but you are also a motivated team player. You are representative, possess well developed communication and interpersonal skills and show a lot of initiative. Lifelong learning and continuous education is a normal ambition for you and you have a "can do" mentality.

Furthermore we ask for:

• a Bachelor/Master degree in financial economics, business economics or business administration;
• maximum of 2 years of workexperience;
• affinity with Recons/TLM system;
• affinity with automated systems and MS Office in general (including VBA Excel);
• a strong analytical background and knowledge of databases;
• familiarity/affinity with business functions such as: Trade Processing, Pricing & Valuation, Cash & Collateral Management, Data Management etc.;
• an excellent command of English and Dutch (both oral and written).
