Function Function
As a Money manager and FX dealer you are responsible for the execution of cash, liquidity and foreign exchange management related activities for holdings and business units. You ensure availability of cash and liquidity in the short term and continuity of business processes in order to minimize the financing costs and maximize returns of available liquidity. You execute and manage short term investment mandates of holding companies and business units. This requires processing, analysing and reporting financial and related data in compliance with relevant regulations, risk policies and management information requests. Execution of foreign exchange transactions by aggregating global currency positions and exposures in compliance with risk policies. You process capital flows within the company in coordination with Legal, Tax and Accounting specialists and Country Units. Hedge related currency exposures.
 
About the department
Treasury Trading & Services provides efficient and cost effective cash, liquidity, currency and collateral management across Aegon and aspires to continue to be leader in relation to these activities for holding companies and business units globally. TTS combined assets under management is over EUR 10bn and TTS executes approximately EUR 50bn of foreign exchange transactions. TTS combined executed over 160k wires comprising over EUR 2,000bn in cash flows.
  Requirements Job Profile
As Money manager and FX dealer you have a strong interest in financial markets, are comfortable in interacting with others and you can stay calm in stressful situations. Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

• University degree in business economics or similar
• 1-2 years of experience in a financial environment
• Analytical, mathematical skills and a high level of accuracy is required
• Effective skills in organizing, prioritizing and planning
• Having a good understanding of Dutch language

 
Financial Development Program
In this position you can join the Financial Development Program. The program is based on job rotation. Every two years you will switch to another business unit in The Hague: Aegon The Netherlands, Aegon Asset Management, Aegon Group and Aegon Bank. These rotations (3 times max.) facilitate your development as a broad professional. Besides these rotations you will join training sessions regularly to further develop your communication-, project management- and leadership skills. The Program coordinators will coach you on an individual basis. The program is an excellent opportunity to build a broad network with your peers and to interact with senior management. All of this will boost your development and prepares you for senior expert and management roles within Aegon.
