Your expertise covers the full breadth of the design process from concept through to delivery, including strategy and user research through to testing, product launch and optimization. You relish tackling complex problems and are able to confidently bring design-led thinking to the table to ensure solutions work for both the customer whilst meeting the broader business requirements. As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Digital, you will form the backbone of our projects and be proactive, resourceful and collaborative in creating high-quality work.

• Design and conduct qualitative user research and extract meaningful behavioral insights
• Define the product vision, customer journey, information architecture, design principles and roadmap to deliver the desired customer experience
• Conceptual design, rapid prototyping, basic visual design (to bring concepts to life) and detailed production-ready user interface design
• Define a product feature backlog with user experience specifications and KPIs
• Conduct iterative customer testing and product refinement
• As a senior UX designer you are able to inspire and guide a client and team through the full cycle of product or service development
• Contribute to business development through proactively identifying new opportunities, attending new client meetings, contribute to proposal writing, pitching to clients, marketing activity and thought leadership

Being a Senior UX Designer:

• You should have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, Graphic Design)
• You are familiar with industry standard design tools such as Sketch, Invision and Adobe Creative Suite
• You probably have some consulting experience, although this isn’t essential
• You have experience facilitating design workshops, presenting to senior stakeholders and running meetings
• You have experience defining the experience strategy and like to see the big picture as well as diving into the details
• You have some experience of service design and are interested in broadening your skills in other related design disciplines
• You are a creative problem solver and structured thinker, and comfortable with a hypothesis driven approach
• You are able to guide and coach junior designers
• You are comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments and can be flexible and adaptable in your approach
• You have excellent communication skills and you’re a natural storyteller – you know how to structure information in a compelling way
