We are looking for a senior business controller to strengthen our Finance Business Advice team. Your work environment

You will join the Finance Business Advice COO team, a department which consists of 7 finance professionals who advice the COO organisation in the Netherlands.

In this role you will have your own senior business partners whom you are going to provide insights in the financial performance and based on these insights you will give your advice. Your focus area will be the KYC organization of NL. Next to the regular work, you will also participate as financial expert in strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis.

This is what your activities will look like:

• Being a trusted advisor for senior management and contribute to strategic discussion with your financial expertise;
• Making complex analyses, which you present in an easy way;
• Responsible for (periodic) internal reporting (and when necessary external);
• Coordinating the monthly closing processes;
• Coaching colleagues.

How to succeed

• Financial Master degree
• Experience in translating complex data into sound and clear advice
• Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Experience in a financial advice position within a bank is preferred
• You love to work with numbers and have a genuine interest in banking
• Curious attitude towards market and economic developments
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
