The purpose of the Data Office Risk and Finance is to lead ING towards a data-driven future by embracing ING’s Global Data Strategy so that Risk and Finance can deliver best in class data.
We do this by making sure that ING complies to external regulations like BCBS239 and internal regulations like ING’s Data Management Minimum Standards. Another important component of our work is to make sure that the Data Exchange Framework as established by ING is followed.
Your work environment
Your tasks will be quite diverse. We have some nice and interesting challenges that need attention. In your role as Business Analyst Data at Risk and Finance:
You will be responsible for creating the finance and risk data definitions
Take part in the iterative approach in which all data requirements between Risk, Finance and Data Management will be aligned
Create use cases which explain the data definitions
Present the data definitions / use cases to stakeholders
Ensures input from SME’s to identify all specifics for each definition
You will support the data providers & data consumers
Explain data requirements
Provide sourcing / consumption instructions
Answer all kind of questions regarding data definitions

Working for the Data Office of Risk and Finance means that you work in a small team, servicing many colleagues in ING. We are all data-minded and closely connected to the data initiatives and developments on ING Group level. We have expertise of external and internal regulations and are committed to implement our data target.
For this specific role, you will be participating in a multi-disciplinary squad consisting of staff from many different departments in ING.

3-5+ years relevant experience as a Business Analyst or other relevant position
Experience and knowledge with Risk / Finance data, requirements and definitions
Knowledge of financial products
Knowledge of and data modelling and (preferably knowledge of the IBM Data Warehouse Model or ING Esperanto)
Analytical skills, eye for detail and able to deliver high quality products
Excellent communication skills and are able to liaise with many stakeholders
Ability to simplify complex issues and can transfer knowledge to others
Strong realization power, are confident, persistent and take initiative
Empathic ability and you possess an intrinsic motivation to really understand the subject
You are a true team player in an agile environment
