Our Talent Performance & Rewards team is searching for a Global Mobility Advisor to advise our business, employees and HR colleagues on all mobility-related matters. You and your Global Mobility colleagues will collaborate with developing and implementing global mobility processes. 

The Global Mobility team within Deloitte supports (future) employees on all activities related to Global Mobility. The team consists of eight employees and we are looking for a new Global Mobility Advisor. As Global Mobility Advisor you work closely with your colleague Global Mobility Advisor, GM Specialists, GM Supporters and the GM lead.

As a Global Mobility Advisor you will be the trusted business advisor on Deloitte’s Global Mobility policies and processes. You will be responsible for maintaining contact with various stakeholders, like business leaders, employees, Global Mobility teams abroad and colleagues from HR, Finance, Payroll and the Tax Global Employer Services department. Keeping balance between business needs, internal policies and expat expectations is a vital element of your role. Your role is to act as the first point of contact for all Global Mobility related questions.

This is how
  • coordinate Global Mobility and relocation processes;
  • partner directly with assignees relocating to or from Deloitte Netherlands on a case-by-case-basis;
  • deliver Global Mobility policy advisory to business, employees and HR colleagues;
  • increasing awareness amongst employees and business regarding compliance and international opportunities;
  • hosting webinars, training sessions etc. regarding Global Mobility for our stakeholders;
  • identifying and implementing (process) improvements with regard to Global Mobility;
  • advising and facilitating the business and employees in the orientation phase of an international assignment, international direct hire and/or project assignment;
  • facilitating the performance cycle for the expats of Deloitte Netherlands;
  • operating as the linking pin between the departments involved in an international assignment;
  • maintaining contact with Deloitte Global Mobility teams worldwide.

What you offer

  • a completed HBO/WO degree in the direction of HR, Fiscal Law of Fiscal Economy;
  • at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in an international context;
  • excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (both oral and written);
  • a strong affinity with Global Mobility / expatriate management and you have already gained some work experience in this area in the form of tax / immigration / social security / administrative supervision of these processes and / or advising the business / (international) employees on this subject;
  • you can just as easily work independently as in a team;
  • have strong relationship management skills, including the capacity to quickly build a network of internal and external cross border peer contacts to enhance knowledge and services, you are pro-active and customer oriented;
  • perform well in a high demanding organization and have the ability to work in a continuously changing and challenging environment, you are pragmatic and think in solutions.
