We are looking for a hands on feature engineer to strengthen the trade tribe. You will be working within the IT organization of trade finance services. Trade finance services supports products like letters of credit, bank guarantees and documentary collections. We deliver IT services such as maintaining core vendor applications -Finastra Fusion for trade finance and corporate channels-, and providing tailored solutions for data analytics, back office integration and customer channels. We are constantly improving our applications with a focus on seamless integration, straight through processing, resilience and compliance.  The teams operate according to a DevOps Agile development process. Intensive collaboration with business, other DevOps teams and Tribes is day-to-day business.

What you’ll do

Help the tribe’s IT delivery to generate customer value by translating epics into features and coordinating the implementation of those features. Support product owners and architects with maintaining the application roadmap. Support teams with refining and estimating user stories. Conduct workshops and trainings for (super) users and stakeholders. Design and implement solutions based on our core application Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation: Implement business logic in our core applications. Design and test application customizations to be delivered by our software engineers. Design and implement integration with other applications:

• End to end process design.
• End to end data flow design.
• Data mapping.
• End to End coordination of the implementation of interfaces or api’s.
• Designing and executing test scenario’s,

Resolve customer and user issues by:

• Incident / problem analysis.
• Providing input for improved work instructions.
• Liaising with other teams & departments to resolve application integration issues

Design and implement the application security model:

• User access management logic.
• Teams and user roles.

Coordinate with software vendors to:

• Request, test and accept new features.
• Raise service requests, test and accept resolutions provided.

Quality assurance:

• Documenting solution architecture and design.
• Functional and integration testing.
• Supporting user acceptance tests.
• Designing and supporting regression tests.
• Supporting regular (SOX) audits.

How to succeed

Your key competencies: team player, persistent, analytical, customer centric, eager to learn. Fluent English communication skills, verbal as well as written. Excellent mastery of trade finance products (Guarantees / undertakings, LC’s, collections, reimbursements etc.) Excellent, certified, hands on, knowledge of Finastra Fusion suite for Trade Finance and Corporate Channels Good generic banking knowledge (including compliance, risk, KYC) Proficiency in Business analysis, Process design, Information analysis, Data modelling Proficiency in project management preferably in an Agile environment. Flexible with respect to working pattern/ hours
