Senior Associate Finance Control (ING Neo - Innovation)
ING Neo is the newly established business area that combines ING’s central innovation activities to innovate for ING’s clients and ING itself. ING Neo will focus on Horizon 2 and 3 (new products and services for existing or new clients) within 5 value spaces: Safe & Compliant, Disrupt Lending, Financial Health, Housing, Trade, and always focused on INGs key objectives.
What you’ll do
You will develop and support the Financial Control and Management Information processes (including dashboards) within ING Neo. Gathering, analysing and consolidating financial data from ING Neo departments, including reviewing the valuation of for example goodwill, investments and loans.
You will stay in touch with amongst others Finance Services, ING Neo departments and (start-up) initiatives who you support with questions on their reporting and help implement solutions to ensure robust control, accounting and MI processes. In addition you will help initiatives when they “spin out” from a financial perspective to ensure proper accounting.
How to succeed
You are a well-articulated, structured, dynamic team player and analytical, comfortable working in a dynamic environment with different nationalities and disciplines. You like improving the way of working, employ your creativity and not afraid of the unknown
Master degree in Accounting / Business Administration or comparable education
4+ years of relevant experience in a controlling / analyst / financial (audit) role
Innovative, control and continuous improvement mindset
Knowledge about external reporting requirements (IFRS and Dutch GAAP)
Good/Excellent Excel and good Powerpoint and preferably BI tooling skills
Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
Organizational sensitivity, excellent communication skills and a team player
Flexible, able to adjust quickly to new circumstances
Strong analytical skills
Can do mentality, no-nonsense attitude
Curious and willingness to learn and challenge the status quo
