Finance Group Treasury (GT) and Corporate Line is looking for an Associate Finance Control with a strong financial background and a desire to work in an ambitious and dynamic finance team with a high level of business expertise and specialist knowledge.
Your Work Environment
Finance Group Treasury & Corporate Line (GT & CL) is overall responsible for the financial management of Treasury, Capital Management and Other Corporate Line activities within ING. Within Finance GT & CL the primary task of the Business Control GT NL & CL team is to support GT Management in optimizing ING’s balance sheet through:
Management information, analysis & advice and business control activities
Driving the implementation of innovative, forward looking balance sheet steering information
Targeting global standardisation and streamlining of relevant processes, tools and systems
The Business Control GT NL team consists of financial control, business advice, and accounting experts with an in depth knowledge of Group Treasury activities and financial instruments combined with a broad knowledge of various balance sheet, IFRS accounting and regulatory accounting topics. We report directly to the CFO Group Treasury.
Tasks & Responsibilities
You are a member of a small team of 3 FTE which is part of Finance Group Treasury & Corporate Line (GT & CL) 35 FTE. Your most important tasks are:
Oversight activities for Corporate Line, including managing and challenging the large variety of stakeholders, and consolidation for monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management;
Understand the Group Treasury and other Corporate Line portfolios and provide support to the stakeholders such as CFO Corporate Line, Group Finance, Investor Relations, GBA, and Group Treasury front office;
Leading the Balance Sheet and P&L forecasting and budgeting process, liquidity/solvency forecast, scenario analysis;
Financial accounting (balance sheet, P&L) control
Regulatory accounting control, including solvency, liquidity;
Support, analysis and business advice on above to main stakeholders.

Education
A Master’s degree, for example in Economics, Econometrics or Business Administration and at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
