Do you help us in building the Center of Excellence that provides compliant data and reports to its business partners? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated colleague!

Your working environment

The Circle Regulatory Reporting is part of COORF/Global Services (GS). Our purpose is to empower ING’s business management to be competitive through excellent data and reports.

As regulatory reporting specialist you will work in the Finance Partner Team (FPT), of which there are five within the Circle Regulatory Reporting. Together with  colleagues, forming the FPT, you are end-to-end responsible for the central coordination of Dutch DGS reporting for ING Group to DNB.

The roles and responsibilities of the FPT entail the following:

  • Contact person DNB and NVB for DGS
  • Contact person and guide external audit and internal audit
  • Maintain DGS Control Standard
  • Communicate DGS guidelines in organization
  • Contact person for DGS country/domain SPOC
  • Monitor control implementation and KCT on DGS controls
  • Maintain requirements Datamart DGS and functional de-duplication
  • Owner and maintain central DGS runbook
  • Align quality and completeness local DGS runbooks and sign-off

  • Are you an experienced regulatory reporting specialist?

We are looking for an experienced and self-starting regulatory reporting specialist who is flexible and likes the dynamics of the environment in which an international company like ING operates.

The ability to quickly and thoroughly gain an understanding of our IT infrastructure, the processes and governance is part of your skill set. You are used to prioritize between run, change and innovation and are used to manage (senior) stakeholders.

  • How do you put the customer experience first?

As a regulatory reporting specialist you have a passion for the end-to-end implementation of process and content improvements that will benefit our business partners. It is a role with a broad scope including elements of process management, data analyses, change identification and implementation and stakeholder management. You will work closely together with our  change organization, process improvement specialists, finance and risk departments in locations and our business partners in order to continuously improve the quality of our services. You don’t stop when a service is delivered, but you will only be satisfied once the expectations of our business partners are met.

Furthermore, you have:

  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • 7+ years of working experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Recent knowledge and experience with IFRS and Regulatory reporting;
  • Show initiative, you are pro-active. As a result you take ownership and are not afraid of deadlines. You ask for help if needed, ask for feedback but also give feedback within your finance partner team
