COORF Global Services is looking for a Liquidity Reporting Professional to strengthen the Regulatory Reporting Circle.

The opportunity

The 2008-09 Global Financial Crisis highlighted the need for granular, timely liquidity data and reporting to monitor liquidity risks across the financial services industry. The benefits of liquidity reporting are live in action through the COVID-19 global pandemic. Liquidity reporting has been of critical importance during this pandemic because of its ability to inform daily changes across sources and uses of liquidity, in addition to draws on commitments across counterparty segments. The transparency of contractual cash flows has allowed regulators to model client behavioral impacts of the pandemic.

As a Liquidity Reporting Professional within the Regulatory Reporting circle, you work closely with numerous stakeholders (e.g. Tribes, Business Partners and ING Hub locations) and your other Circle colleagues to fulfill and optimize our Liquidity Reporting Services. You are constantly servicing our internal clients (i.e. ING locations) by also having a keen eye on quality and efficiency of the processes. The Circle is specialized in the Regulatory Reporting activities for different entities in the area of Capital Reporting, Financial & Granular Data Reporting and Liquidity Reporting.  

The team
As a Liquidity Reporting Professional, you work in a dedicated team cross-border organized. You work intensively together to meet our Service Level Agreement targets towards the locations. There is an Agile way of working which allows the team to constantly look for improvements of the processes and work constructively together.

As the team is cross-border organized, the working environment is very international and divers. This way of working has been proven to be successful and we see it as a challenge to help each other grow within the organization.


Role and responsibilities
You are working dedicated on Liquidity Reporting activities in a dynamic environment. The role entails working in a complex Finance environment with interesting challenges in the area of financial closing processes and improvement initiatives. You will be:

  • Responsible for Liquidity Reporting services including involvement in improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-circle & outside GS oriented - work with various stakeholders (Business Partners, Tribes, Global Services Circles, IBSS locations) to make sure the financial close process runs as smooth as possible.
  • Identifying Data Quality issues and follow up on these with the different departments.
  • Making the Reporting service and controls more generic and reusable, avoiding exceptions per business line.
  • An example of the “Orange” behavior and are able to convey this to your direct colleagues.
  • Supporting onboardings, (ad-hoc) requests and change projects.
  • SOX compliant and aligned with MSFRR and cover together with the control roles all CAS, KPMG, ORM items that are key for the quality of the service delivery.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a complex accounting environment.
  • University Degree in relevant field.
  • Strong process management skills.
  • Product Accounting and Financial reporting knowledge.
  • Strong with MS Office and affinity with IT systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to act on his own convictions, also when risks are involved.
  • Stakeholder management skills, uses indirect influence.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to act and perform successfully in a fast-moving, agile and international environment.
  • Furthermore, you adhere to the ING values and it is evident for you that your behavior is fully aligned with these values. You are also prepared to take the Banker's Oath.
