As a Junior Fixed Income Trader at Achmea Investment Management you will work in a dynamic environment and manage the trading activities. You will be trading financial products like bonds and interest rate derivatives. Furthermore you will be involved in continuously improving the trading process by optimizing workflows and investigating and implementing new innovative ways of executing trades.

Execute fixed income transactions in the market
Analyze transaction results
Inform our clients on transaction execution, verbally and in writing
Manage relationships with external counterparties and brokers
Perform periodic broker reviews
Around 3 years of work experience in the Fixed Income trading field, preferably in government bonds or derivatives
Fluent in English and Dutch
An academic degree in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or equivalent and a post-graduate degree or the willingness to attain one.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Demonstrable affinity with financial markets
Computer programming skills (like Python or Excel VBA) are definitely a plus
