Expertly advising MidCorporate customers and ensuring new customers stay with ING
As a relationship manager at ING MidCorporate, you are the expert and strategic sparring partner for MidCorporate customers in your sector and controller of the customer portfolio in the north-western region of the Netherlands. You advise customers in the broadest sense, not only discussing details of ING’s complete proposition with the customer, but also including non-ING products in your advice where possible. Together with the specialists in your multidisciplinary Client Service Team (CST) and colleagues from other segments within ING, you provide superlative customer service and do everything in your power to further develop the customer relationship. In addition, as an authority in your sector, you are a prominently visible ambassador for ING MidCorporate in the market. You actively maintain your sector and regional network and take every possible opportunity to talk to prospects and ensure new customers stay with ING.

Your work environment
As a relationship manager at ING MidCorporate, you work from our office in Amsterdam. You are part of a CST that also includes a lending specialist, a transaction services consultant and an associate. You are responsible for a specific sector, Business Services. You report to the sector director.

Attractive salary and fringe benefits
In this full-time position (36 hours), you not only receive an excellent salary (depending on your work experience) and 24 days of paid holiday, you also have a 13th month and are entitled to a lease car.

You are a knowledgeable professional with the drive and energy to continuously extend customer relationships and to ensure new customers stay with ING. You are skilled, creative in your solutions and an engaging communicator at all levels. You enjoy working with colleagues and helping others to be successful, but you also excel when working independently. Most importantly of all: you are highly market-oriented, instinctively see opportunities with customers and prospects in your sector, and you are able to respond to them proactively and with the most appropriate advice. For example, by consistently introducing specialists to customers at the right time.

• You have a diploma at Higher Professional Education (HBO) level (or higher).
• You have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry or in areas such as Corporate Finance or as a debt adviser. Work experience in the banking industry is considered an advantage.
• You are able to conduct strategic discussions and think conceptually.
• You have knowledge of and experience with approving financing.
• You have an excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
