What are you going to do:
As a finance & accounting specialist, you will work at an insurance company for independent contractors. You will analyze data to provide insights in business growth and profitability. You will collaborate closely with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with the strategic objectives.
Some of your daily responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports to management and external stakeholders;
- Own the accounting of all group companies;
- Manage weekly payment runs and cash flows;
- File quarterly VAT returns;
- Run the monthly payroll process;
- Develop and own the procurement process;
- Supporting the team during fundraises.
Where will you work?
You will work at a scale-up, that offers a digital insurance platform for independent contractors. This organization focusses on user experience and is an expert in data. You will work in the finance team, currently existing of mainly senior finance specialists. Within this organization, you will get the chance to learn and grow.

What we ask:
- Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability accounting, finance or economics
- 3 years of relevant experience;
- You are analytic, structured and flexible;
- You are fluent in English and at least B1-level Dutch.
