At a glance

CMS UK will cover various activities and products/solutions towards clients of bank in the UK. Securities Finance (SF) is one of the core product offerings within Capital Markets Solutions (CMS). CMS is the heart of ABN AMRO’s Corporate Banking (CB).  London is the home to the largest amount of the bank’s Financial Institution clients and the global hub for the Securities Finance Industry, as such  CMS UK plays a pivotal role in the bank’s desire to have a sustainable Securities Finance and CMS products offering to their clients. The aim of our Financial Institution sales is to connect with Local FI’s in the delivery of all sorts of capital markets and investment products

 The department’s main clients are clearing banks, prime brokers, banks, pension funds, asset managers, central banks, and insurance companies. Internally ALM & Treasury, ABN AMRO Clearing and Equity Brokerage rely on services offered by CMS UK.

 Securities Finance activities are delivered through Stock Loans, Total Return Swaps, Repurchase Agreements, and any other products recorded on the approved products list.

Your job

Responsibility to ensuring effective management, supervision and control over CMS UK. 

  • Strategic thinking to leverage the new strategy to create opportunities for the UK business
  • Developing new opportunities through market intelligence which are not limited to the product range that CMS UK presently offer
  • Ability to analyse and research the UK market for potential opportunities and devise, write, present and ultimately sell a business plan for expansion
  • Inspiring leadership to proactively push the CMS UK business forward and create a vision to bring the team along
  • Promote the UK business to the forefront of the minds of the NL decision makers. 
  • Manage the risk of trading positions, ensuring credit and other risk exposures are within the approved limits
  • Lead the implementation of new products and coordinate all required stakeholders to launch products successfully
  • Lead the commercial sales effort to cross-sell Markets products to ABN AMRO clients
  • Market business offerings of the Company and arrange counterparty coverage
  • Management of a diverse team of highly skilled professionals
