Develop and manage an allocated group of North European based Transportation clients. Drive events, pro-actively identify client situations where ABN AMRO can be relevant and work together with product/execution teams to realize holistic client solutions. Work on achieving your goals and develop yourself professionally and personally.Tell us your story. As a Director you put forward proposals focused inter alia on establishing the strategic and tactical objectives of the applicable client portfolio and the way in which they can be achieved. You would involve internal bank parties who are active in the credit/ investment process in these activities. The emphasis is on special, non-standard transactions and finance constructions. Steer the sales activities in such a way that joint activities are realised and additional lending and non-lending revenues for the bank are obtained. Close cooperation with other business lines both national and international within the Bank is crucial. The candidate is expected to be a true team player, hardworking and perform well under pressure. The candidate should have strong interest and preferably experience in the field of originating and executing transactions in the maritime sector/ shipping. The candidate has strong stakeholder management capabilities. Strong analytical and modelling skills are a must and candidate should have proven experience and a track-record in for example M&A, Equity/ Debt Capital Markets and/or (sector) research. 

We are with 7 professionals working closely together ensuring that our portfolio is sound and growing in a sustainable way. We ensure our clients are serviced optimally within set internal/external parameters. You shall be working in the Rotterdam office (Coolsingel) however you will also regularly be working in Amsterdam (HQ). Our department is part of Transporation clients (a division of ECT Clients). Transportation Clients has offices in Rotterdam, Athens, Singapore, Oslo and New York.
