Become our Test Automation Lead!Do you have what it takes to become our test automation lead? Are you willing to invest in yourself to guide us into the future of test automation? We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic and junior (test) IT Engineer that will become the new test automation lead. In this role you can learn from some experienced Test Automation Professionals the coming year so you can take over these responsibilties and be the CoE consultant of this subject.

Training on the job will be provided to grow from test automation support engineer to test automation lead. You will work with experts in the field, learn from them and be able to follow courses and conferences.

ABN AMRO has set up a framework for automated testing. This framework is to be used by 170+ agile teams in 11 domains, both onshore as offshore. The test automation activities are executed in the domains as part of the development process. Orchestration of these activities needs to be done from the central team (Center of Expertise). Moreover new updates of tooling and adding new –bank wide- functionality for test automation need to be set up from the central team.

Starting as the test automation support engineer you are responsible for:

• Participation in the central support, including super user meetings and support meetings for decentral support teams
• Keeping up with new updates on technology and update/maintain the framework accordingly

The role of test automation support engineer is mix of many different tasks, varying from hands-on maintenance of the automation framework to (assist in) building a test(automation) vision for the longer term for ABN AMRO BANK, coordination of test automation activities with the different groups in ABN AMRO and leading a (small) team on the test automation support.To accommodate these different aspects as good as possible we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
