Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) is an advisory service-line organized within KPMG Audit. In the daily operations to serve our KPMG clients CMAAS closely works together with other KPMG Departments such as Transaction Services, US Accounting and Reporting Group and the valuations experts of Corporate Finance.
CMAAS is one the growth initiatives of KPMG, therefore we are looking for (Senior-) Managers in the field of tax accounting to join us. CMAAS unit focuses on (inter)national corporates and large companies.
CMAAS provides a wonderful opportunity for professionals with broad accounting knowledge including a few years of  tax accounting experience, who wish to further develop their consulting skills and customer relationships with a focus on complex tax accounting issues.
The consulting activities range from: support with complex accounting issues and the implementation thereof, analysis of GAAP conversions, working on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs and finance transformations, drafting accounting policy manuals and provide technical accounting trainings. You will especially advise on the related tax accounting and tax reporting consequences.
You will be involved in different CMAAS services. You are able to serve large (inter)national clients and lead multidisciplinary teams to improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction. Both internally and externally you are seen as an tax accounting expert and you are able to expand the existing client portfolio.

• You possess a degree in Accountancy or (Business) Economics, preferably combined with tax law education and/or intense tax training.
• You have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience either in the audit practice or an internal or external advisory role focusing on tax accounting.
• You have an above average knowledge and interests in IFRS/Dutch GAAP. Knowledge and experience in US GAAP is an advantage.
• You wish to further develop your tax accounting skills.
• You are a person who likes to work with a variety of colleagues from different units/backgrounds within KPMG and you are able to expand this cooperation.
• You are a creative thinker and have a real hands-on mentality.
• Integrity, personal credibility and resilience are important personal characteristics that you possess.
• Providing quality work is your top priority.
• You are able to work independently and effectively within a team and have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are willing to follow internal and external training and occasionally to work on projects abroad.
