RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the day-to-day administration of IT security systems and operations
• Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring to detect anomalies and intrusions
• Investigate and report on all IT security incidents
• Provide evidence on the effectiveness of IT controls in order to establish the maturity level and identify gaps between practice and policy
• Responsible for the end-state implementation of security technologies and processes
• Execute technical risk assessments, discuss and propose solutions for identified risks
• Responsible for role based access reviews of IT users within business and IT applications
• Assist the IT Security Officer with the development of information security policies, standards, and procedures in association with key personnel
• and regional LISO
• Assist with the management of information security incident responses
• Improve risk awareness and knowledge of the risk policies of business analysts, project managers, and application designers and developers
• Responsible for monitoring and verifying the implementation of IT security baselines within the IT organization
• Participates and is responsible for the proper definition and implementation of IS controls within IT projects
• Works with IT department at all levels to ensure they are enacting their specific security responsibilities
• Advise and ensure system patch levels and virus definitions are at the correct levels
• Collaborate with IT management to continually evolve the IT security aspects of systems and infrastructure to enable secure information
• exchange and eliminate regulatory risk
• Maintain and validate procedures with regards to IT security practices
• Monitors advancements in information security technologies
• Validate system changes including patch and software version releases prior to release into the shared services production environment
• Participate in Incident Management & Change Management procedures as required
• After hours and weekend work as required

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Job Title: Information Technology Security Systems Administrator: This role is for a systems administrator/network administrator with IT security
credentials who will provide expert advice to ensure information security is continuously improved in the IT domain. The IT Security Systems
Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT security environment. IT Security System Administrators will provide input for solution
design as well as perform project management & project implementation for security related initiatives such as SIEM implementation, IDS/IPS, and
privileged access management solution. The IT Security Systems Administrator role also participates heavily in assuring and evidencing maturity of
process and governance against NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), COBiT and ITIL standards for auditors and regulators.
