ABN AMRO’s Development Engineers design and develop the next generation of applications. Building software is great, but building software for around 5 million end-users is better! While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you’ll work with the best professionals in software development.As a Development Engineer you are responsible with your team to speed up and strengthen the digital transformation by designing, implementing and supporting our Chatbot application. Our aim is delivery of an innovative Chatbot to increase the interaction with our customers. This Chatbot should have great UX, excellent functionality and seamless integration with our other solutions. Your focus within the team will be on developing this Chatbot. The things you will work on are for instance:

• Artificial Intelligence and creating solutions on the cloud (Microsoft Azure).
• Front-end and back-end solutions e.g. JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript, React), HTML and CSS.
• Data models and –structures in Cosmos DB or SQL.
• Setting up a CI/CD pipeline.

You will be working together with your colleagues in an Agile team in a dynamic and international atmosphere, with plenty of room for fun. We are okay with making mistakes, as long as we learn from them. Would you like to make work of your career at ABN AMRO? Then you have:

• A Bachelor’s level (or in the Netherlands HBO or WO level).
• At least 3 years of experience as a Developer, preferable in banking or retail.
• Experience with the Agile way of working or Scrum.
• Dev-Ops and CI/CD knowledge or mentality.
• Strong technical skills and you are able turn business wishes into IT solutions.
• An exploratory mindset, on the lookout for new developments in Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Services and Cloud.
