Your jobYou are responsible for the management of our largest existing, and on-boarding of our future, Agri Commodities clients in the coffee, cocoa, sugar, cotton, dairy, grains and edible oils sectors, domestically and abroad, both present in emerging and non-emerging countries. Your responsibilities further include acquisition and global account management. You develop and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients and prospects in the sector, making sure the client optimally contributes to profitability, risk control and economic profit results.You help identify market and cross-selling opportunities (such as capital markets, brokerage & clearing and M&A) and have a leading role in structuring and executing customised financing solutions for our clients. You coordinate complex legal documentation processes and are in constant dialogue with Risk Management, mitigating possible risks. You give presentations to internal stakeholders, to clients, supervise and share your knowledge with associates and encourage their personal development. You are a part of dedicated projects that may involve multiple Agri Commodity Clients desks.
Your working environmentTrade & Commodity Finance (TCF) Agricultural (Agri) Commodities finances trade flows of grains, edible oils, sugar, coffee, cocoa, dairy, FCOJ, biofuels and cotton products from origin to destination. Our wide variety of clients include international trading houses, producers and food and feed processors. They are part of the top segment of their industries. With an extensive market knowledge and considerable track record, TCF has strongly positioned itself in markets across the globe. We currently work from all major time zones and continue to expand our global profile. Our Agri desks are located in Amsterdam, New York, Sao Paulo and Singapore and work for clients based in Europe, the United States, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.The Agri Commodities team in Amsterdam consists of an internationally diverse team of 18 dedicated professionals with a focus on commodities (Coffee, Cocao, Sugar, Cotton and Dairy, Grains and Edible oilseeds). The team spirit is high and we have an open culture and flat hierarchy. We closely cooperate with dedicated commodity teams in Debt Solutions, Brokerage & Clearing, Sector Origination and Risk Management. Working at ABN AMRO means becoming even better at what you do.
