Your challenge
As a controller, you run and oversee the day-to-day administration of the management company AIM and Aegon Asset Management Global. Also, you are responsible for internal reporting of financial and management information to the AAM Global Finance team and the AIM management board.
 
As a controller, you are also responsible for external reporting such as (semi-)annual financial statements and regulatory reporting for both entities to Dutch Central Bank and responsible for part of the annual budgeting and forecasting process, interact and challenge the business and demand cost control/awareness. You also provide financial support to, challenge and interact with client facing business.
 
About the department
The Finance department within Aegon Investment Management BV (AIM) is responsible for all internal and external reporting, the financial control over the reporting which includes oversight over the day-to-day administration of AIM, the budgeting and forecasting cycle and cost control. The organisation operates in a highly dynamic environment as a result of which tasks will continue to evolve over time and a flexible mindset is required.
  Requirements As a controller, you are a hard working professional with passion for control. You work in structured way and you are proactive and flexible. Furthermore, you are analytical and you aim for results.
 
Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master degree in finance / accounting
• 5 to 10  years relevant working experience in the financial industry or big 4 financial services
• Experience working in an international, multinational environment;
• Experience of regulatory reporting, capital planning/ ICAAP, financial reporting (IFRS / Dutch GAAP) is required;
  Strong written and spoken English skills.
