Data & Reporting Analyst in Heerlen

As Data & Reporting Analyst at APG Asset Management, you will facilitate the provision of information process. In this challenging role focused on Fixed Income, you are responsible for data processing, data analyses and generating reports. You also translate business requirements into IT solutions, in your day-to-day work and in the larger project organization context. You are the link between the Investment Management and Investment Operations departments and you have a great deal of contact with colleagues in the front and back office.
 
You also manage data suppliers, decide on quality standards and keep things under control. Based on your knowledge and skills in relation to investments and data, you carry out checks and enrich the data. In that way you contribute significantly to improving the information flow to the Fixed Income end-users.

At Asset Management you will work in the Data Management department, which is part of Investment Support. This relatively new department is responsible for the entire process, from the data definitions definitions up to the day-to-day delivery of information products. The team is a mix of permanent and contracted employees to match the needs of a full project portfolio. The team, the work and the environment all have a distinctly international flavor.
 
Your base location will be in Amsterdam / Heerlen and as your work-day starts early we ask that you live in the region.

As (Senior) Market Data Management Analyst you have superior analytical insight. You excel in managing the organization of information flows and are able to map them clearly. You actively network, are proactive and you focus (with) your team on achieving results. Your knowledge and expertise make you a valued conversation partner. You have a strong ability to identify the client’s needs, you are especially tenacious and service-oriented, and you remain constructively critical at all times. You embrace changes and flourish in a dynamic environment. Working under daily time pressure in such an environment is not a problem for you and you are familiar with the financial products and their characteristics.

You strive to perfect the daily operational flow and have an attitude to pursue perfection in your work as well as your colleague’s. You are able to translate day-to-day events in usable management information.

Further qualifications:

• A relevant academic background (e.g. finance and investments or information management);
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the area of data analysis & reporting;
• DAMABOK – FIA certification is a plus;
• CFA and/or VBA is a plus;
• Knowledge of (analytical) methods/techniques;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; Dutch will be a plus.
